Weight
Weight is the force in which the earth attracts an object.
W=mg
W is the weight of the object, in newtons (N )m is the mass of the object, in kilograms (kg )g is the acceleration due to gravity, in metres per second (ms^-2 , see acceleration).
Increasing mass
A greater force is needed in order to attract an object with more mass.
This means that objects with more mass will have more weight, in the same gravitational field.
