An exchange particle is a particle which is used to transfer a force in a particle interaction.
Types of exchange particles
- photons for the electromagnetic force
- gluons for the strong nuclear force
- gravitrons for the gravitational force
- w plus bosons, w minus bosons and z bosons for the the weak nuclear force
