Converting fractions to decimals
To convert a fraction to a decimal, you divide the numerator (top number) by the denominator (bottom number).
You can do this using any method you like - such as short division, long division, or just a calculator (and then formatting your answer as a decimal).

Convert \frac{3}{4} to a decimal
3 \div 4 = 0.75 - Answer:

Convert \frac{2}{5} to a decimal

Convert \frac{1}{3} to a decimal
