Base units
There are seven base ‘SI’ units. They are:
- meter (m) - for length
- kilogram (kg) - for mass
- second (s) - for time
- ampere (A) - for electrical current
- kelvin (K) - for temperature
- mole (mol) - for amount of substance
- candela (cd) - for light intensity
